The Role:

Our client is a North Wexford based family run business serving the needs of the horticulture and gardens/ grounds care industry and have been in business for over 12 years. They supply and service the machinery needs of these sectors. An interesting opportunity has now arisen to further develop their parts sales business.

The main purpose of this role is to organise and grow the development of the parts sales business. This is achieved by providing excellent service in the following:

  • Managing customers queries on the phone, email and in person.
  • Maintenance of stock parts levels
  • Placing parts orders
  • Coordinate daily parts deliveries

You could be successful in this role if you:

  • Have a strong interest and knowledge in machinery / farm machinery.
  • Are neat and well organised.
  • Have strong computer skills (i.e. excel, email and file organisation).
  • Are competent in reading parts diagrams.
  • Are motivated and always willing to learn more.
  • Are diligent but with a flexible work approach.
  • Have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of small team
  • Are fluent in English. 

While ideally this is a full time role some flexibility on hours or days for the right candidate can be discussed. The role is based in their office in North Wexford. Training can be made available where the right candidate requires more technical training or experience.
